Though CREED announced its breakup in 2004, the band briefly reunited in 2009 to release "Full Circle". Heavier than their previous albums, "Full Circle" debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, proving the incredible staying power of the band. "I learned this from Mark [Tremonti, CREED guitarist] the other day in a Guitar World interview that we did together," Scott said. Other guests on the cruise include 3 Doors Down, Buckcherry, Tonic, Vertical Horizon, Fuel, the Verve Pipe, Tantric, Dishwalla, Louise Post (of Veruca Salt) and Nine Days.

Due to unprecedented demand for the Summer of ’99 Cruise, we are thrilled to announce the Summer of ’99 and Beyond Cruise. Week 2 Sails April 27-May 1, 2024 from Port Canaveral (Orlando) in Canaveral, FL to Nassau, Bahamas aboard Norwegian Jade. However, each cruise will feature different ports, and destinations, and will occur on different ships. Summer of ‘99 Cruise and Summer of ‘99 and Beyond Cruise artists’ will vary between sailings.

Naming Guests

The band's lineup of Scott Stapp, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips performed two shows during the cruise, which is traveling from Miami to the Bahamas between April 18 and April 22. Presented by Sixthman, the "Summer Of '99" cruise lineup also includes performances by 3 DOORS DOWN, BUCKCHERRY, TONIC, FUEL, VERTICAL HORIZON, THE VERVE PIPE, TANTRIC and NINE DAYS, among others. In late 2020, drummer Scott Phillips hinted at the idea of a reunion, explaining that "there's no specific timetable for anything or no specific plans, but it's a possibility down the road."

Can each roommate make their own payments?

Creed will return to live performance for the first time in more than a decade in 2024 with the Summer of '99 cruise. The event will take place from April and travel from Miami to Nassau aboard Norwegian Pearl. Creed released four albums beginning with 1997’s My Own Prison, and helped define the mega-selling post-grunge rock movement of the late ‘90s. Singles like “One,” “Higher,” “With Arms Wide Open” and “My Sacrifice” crossed over from alternative radio to pop audiences, and with 1999 sophomore album Human Clay, Creed reached a commercial peak — the album has sold 11.7 million copies to date, according to Luminate.

Can special dietary needs be accommodated?

3 Doors Down, Buckcherry, Tonic, Vertical Horizon, Fuel, The Verve Pipe, Tantric, Dishwalla, Louise Post (of Veruca Salt) and Nine Days have all been booked for the festival cruise, which is presented by Sixthman. In addition to Creed, performances will come from other notable late '90s acts. The "Summer of '99" Cruise will be held from April in 2024, departing from Miami, Florida for Nassau, Bahamas aboard the Norwegian Pearl cruise ship.

Full Circle, released in 2009, marked the band’s last album, and Creed stopped touring together in 2012. Creed will reunite for their first shows in 12 years in 2024, when they set sail the Summer of ’99 cruise next April as headliners of the rock voyage, the band announced on Wednesday (July 17). Stapp, whose road to sobriety kicked off in 2014 after issues with drugs and drinking, along with thoughts of suicide, credited his recovery with providing him with the necessary tools to reach new heights with his CREED bandmates. CREED will perform aboard a second cruise, the "Summer Of '99 And Beyond", traveling from Florida's Port Canaveral to Nassau from April 27 to May 1. A full-fledged tour, also dubbed "Summer Of '99" tour, produced by Live Nation, will kick off on July 17 and will run through September 28.

Their first live performance since 2012 is set to take place on the high seas on the band's own 2024 cruise festival, dubbed "Summer of '99," which features 3 Doors Down and a number of other era-specific groups for maximum nostalgia. CREED disbanded in 2004 but reunited five years later for the aforementioned "Full Circle" LP and an extensive tour. Stapp has since toured and recorded as a solo artist, although he suffered a drug-related mental breakdown in 2014 and spent several years recovering from that. CREED's second concert consisted of 17 songs and included the new additions of "Beautiful", "Pity For A Dime" and "Inside Us All", which were not performed two days earlier. The band’s lineup of Scott Stapp, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips will play two shows during the cruise, which will travel from Miami to the Bahamas between Apr. 18-22, 2024. Presented by Sixthman, the Summer of ’99 cruise lineup is also topped by 3 Doors Down, and includes Buckcherry, Tonic, Fuel, Vertical Horizon, The Verve Pipe, Tantric and Nine Days, among others.
